Luckily for Matt, no ground loop or hum for either of his Tube amp :) i have had issues with group loop when using La Figaro but with Eric's amp never had the issue... :)

Yeah, thought Odyssey was a little better when it comes to classical music for my ears... For Vocal music with Ultimate, the vocal seems to be close to you, yet this amp is not a mid-forward amp like some... Odyssey, for my ears, was a little more refined in its sound.. but then again it is...

what a day it has been at @UntilThen 's home trying all his amplifiers This new UltiMATT not only looks so much better in real life, but it also sounded amazing for all of the headphones we tried, Susvar, LCD5, HE6, HD800 and Grados... This is 3rd Ultimate amp i tried and each time it...

i have had issues with hum/hiss with the amp but it was due to stacking the amp. Initially had AMP under DAC, D70s, and that create so much hum but then I changed it to sit on top of the DAC, no more hum from the device.... looks like the device can a little susceptible to noise... so try...

it was strange and had to listen to amps multiple times to confirm but both had the same tonality. However, as for the soundstage, the bigger chassis seemed to have a little more open presentation... Not sure if the bigger chassis made a difference but they indeed have a difference in its...

Also got into analog from digital and loving every bit of it... except my wallet .......
