FiiO M17 with external Shargeek Storm2 battery power bank (set at 12V DC output). DC interconnect: MCRU Pure Silver Audio Grade DC Power Cable 2.1mm to 2.5mm, with Oyaide gold plated DC plugs and Audio Note 6% silver solder

I like the older technology such as tube amps and R2R DACs, but I've yet to try one of those 17 bit abacus-based DACs. They're pretty easy to make 1s and 0s with, but I don't know if they can really decode digital files quickly enough to sound good. They should probably include a number of highly trained mice to flip the beads back and forth with their little hands.
