Denon AH-D2000 Headband Bolts - Help!
So I'm an old-timer that kind of found a sound that suited and was good to go. This sound/product was the Denon AH-D2000. Unsure anyone still has this model but throwing a hail-mary in case. The problem is they fall apart all the time and are hard to put back together. They have a very small...- tomjonesrocks

Purple IEM/buds (looked custom molded) with black wire out of center...what could they be?
Wish I could have snapped a pic of these but I saw this girl wearing these in-the-ear buds/IEMs and wondered what they could have been? They looked like they were perhaps custom molded--they were all purple and had a black wire coming out of the center of them. Any clue what comes in...- tomjonesrocks

Denon AH-D7000 Appreciation Society
Can someone tell me or point me in the direction of a thread that explains the differences between the D2000 and the D7000? I tried some extensive searching but didn't find anything that spoke to this comparison. I've not been participating here for awhile, and been using a D2000 out of a...- tomjonesrocks

Limited, wooden portable ATH-ESW10JPN arrives! (with pics)
My searches in this thread are failing me. So if this has been covered extensively already I apologize--but direct comparison between ESW9 and ESW10 -- other than a general sense of ESW10>ESW9 -- what are the sound signature differences? More/less bass quantity? More detail? etc..?- tomjonesrocks

Does a attenuating mini-to-mini or a high quality inline volume control exist?
I have an odd issue. I want to use my ipod with turbodock in my car. Unfortunately, the output is too high from the Ipod's line out so I get distortion/clipping/whatever when running it into the line in jack of my car. Can I buy a attenuating mini-to-mini cable? Does such a thing exist? I...- tomjonesrocks

Wooden portable ATH-ESW9 arrived! (with pics)
Grrr...the headband on my pair just broke right at the earpiece hinge. That's pretty disappointing since these are only used at the office--meaning very lightly--so the plastic they chose for this piece is obviously pretty cheap for a headphone in this price range. Will have to see how easy...- tomjonesrocks

How to make an interconnect Step by Step With Pics
I must be fundamentally missing something here. I'm spending so much time trying to get this one ground connection with not so much as a hint of success I'm wondering if my equipment or something isn't up to the task. I'm using Lead Free Rosin Core Silver Bearing Solder and a...- tomjonesrocks

How to make an interconnect Step by Step With Pics
I can't believe I'm posting this...but after 2 hours of work and no success I have to give up and ask. *How* do you get the wires to "stick" to the ground part of the jack? I'm soldering and soldering and simply wind up with a big blob that is attached to the wires but comes right off the...- tomjonesrocks

How to make an interconnect Step by Step With Pics
I did a variety of searches in this thread for clarification unsuccessfully--in the case of the mini-to-mini cable (with switchcraft right-angle plugs), the Canare cable has 4 wires. 2 wires clearly go to right/left, and the third goes to ground. I'm still unsure where the 4th (positive)...- tomjonesrocks

Is there any U.S. sources for the colored pads? With the Euro conversion rate and shipping, I'm concerned if I order from Decks or some of the other european sources the pads will cost US$100 or so.- tomjonesrocks
