General use headphones?
Out of this list, I have only own the 840s, but I can vouch for their performance; I have yet to be disappointed by anything that I throw at them. I bought them as a supplement to my E500s (now broken, I have a pair of SE535s enroute currently!) Compared to the E500s, from what I can recall, the...- lustaficko

The Antlers: Great new artist for indie fans.
I'll just chime in and say that this band is definitely amazing, one of my favorites even. Burst Apart is their first album together as an actual band. Where as Hospice was front man Peter Silberman's lyrics stylings. It's really quite fascinating to see where they took the direction of the...- lustaficko

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING
I need a bit of advice on what my next move should be. My Shure E500s have recently bit the dust; the wire over the ear is totally exposed and beginning to turn green. I'm worried that entire casing will separate from the wire if I continue to use them much more. So in my opinion I have...- lustaficko

Need help making final choice on headphones
Hey dreadful, can I ask you what made you narrow your choice down to the AD700s? I have a similar music preference/ budget that you're working with and was just looking for some more information to help me with my own search for a start-up rig.- lustaficko

Have E500s looking for some full sized 'phones
I've been doing some browsing in the amp forum and one that consistently shows up is the MKV. It received great reviews and seems to have a really nice synergy with the HD650s. Have you heard of it? It's a Solid State amp and seems to have enough power to drive the 650s well. So my system would...- lustaficko

Have E500s looking for some full sized 'phones
Thanks so much! This is exactly the kind of post I was looking for! I don't think I'm ready to try electrostatics yet, and I'm not much of a fan of the in-your-face presentation, so I think I might look into those Sennheisers. I'm just starting so I don't have much of a "system" per say. At...- lustaficko

Have E500s looking for some full sized 'phones
I've had my pair of E500s for two years now and I want to upgrade them to a pair of full size cans for home listening. I really like everything about the Shures, but I just wished that they had more presence in the higher registers. I'm tending to lean towards a Sennheiser because they...- lustaficko

Cowon D2 vs iPod Touch
Well if it's any help I will be pairing the player with E500s. I would love the WiFi and the sleekness of the ipod touch, which is mainly what I'm basing my purchase off of. If I jailbreak it... That just opens up a whole new window. I think It would be a very neat toy to have around, that just...- lustaficko

Cowon D2 vs iPod Touch
I'm really on the fence about which one of these flash players I'd like to get. Both are able to have 16 gigs so that's of no concern. I'm really interested in the touch-screen navigation so that's not a negative. I just can't decide which one to pull the trigger on. So, which one would you...- lustaficko

I found some D-NE20s! I've herd that there are some compatibility(tolerance) issues with it playing MP3 or ATRAC compressed music. Now if I was planing to make a copy of a cd using EAC, would the player have a problem with it? Thanks!- lustaficko

PCDPs?
the NE900 does have a digital out. See this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/forums/showthread.php?t=258274 I believe the only differences are: -Analog amp(900) as opposed to digital amp(930) via HPO: The analog is supposedly more powerful and sounds better then the digital amp.
