iPhone 6 & 6 Plus Audio Quality
Just my 2 cents. Ok, I'm late to the party, but work bought me an iPhone 6. Initial impressions compared to my iPhone 5 is wow! Noticeable difference. iPhone 6 soundstage is markedly wider than my iPhone 5. The 6 sounds warmer with slightly more pronounced bass, but not necessarily more. Know...- humanafterall

6G Nano - why did it take Apple this long ??
Just received a 6G nano as a gift, I must say I agree with the original post.. The 6th gen iPod is one of the best iPod's I have heard. It is different than my 5.5th gen, which I still love. But the 6G nano is great on the detail end, very clean and analytical w out sounding too digital (but...- humanafterall

@SierraHotel01 Thanks for that info, but not the answer I am looking for. Does the "stock EQ" distort like previous generations?- humanafterall

Blackberry sound quality??
I have a bold 9700, my SE phone w510i blows it away.. the 9700 is rolled off on the low end, it's disappointing even with its eq, which is preset, no custom available...I was hoping it would be acceptable, to me it's not. I'd like to hear any impressions about the SQ from any Pearl 3G owners out...- humanafterall

Question about iPod nano 5th gen and EQ.
Quote: Thanks for checking that out for me nywytboy68 (thats a mouthful)..Maybe someone at the Apple store ran those tracks through mp3 gain, or the tracks weren't that loud to cause distortion on the EQ. I am hoping, that the precedence they set for iOS 4 with the non distorted EQ will...- humanafterall

Question about iPod nano 5th gen and EQ.
Can someone that owns this generation, verify if the EQ distorts on this particular model when it is turned on? The reason I ask is because I demo'd one in an Apple store with the B & W headphones they had plugged in, and I checked the EQ and turned it on and listened, and I did'nt hear any...- humanafterall

Is new iPod Classic really that bad?
I wonder what they will do to the iPod Classic for 2010, or would they kill it off entirely for the iPod Touch, 128GB (fingers x).- humanafterall

iPod Touch OS 4 killing anyone else's battery?
same issue here... I find that if I just lock it, it drains. I turn on airplane mode, and turn off wi fi, (I thought thats what airplane mode did on the touch) anyways, thats a work around for now until iOS4.1 comes out, I also try to turn it off to preserve battery, but there is definitely a...- humanafterall

iPod Touch EQ fixed in iOS 4.0
@Achmedisdead September is just around the corner..I'd hold off for the 2011 models. Apple updates their iPods every year. See if you like what they will be offering, then decide.- humanafterall

iPod Touch EQ fixed in iOS 4.0
Quote: I think they implemented the EQ correctly this time, by cutting frequencies rather than boost. I detected no distortion on my album, which I had not run through mp3gain. Have a listen.- humanafterall

Best place to buy refurbished/new iPod Video 5.5g?
I've dealt with iPod zens, they were good to deal with. Just some things to be aware of, it could be identified as a black iPod with video or a white one when you connect it to iTunes, even if the face is white. It just depends on where they pulled the logic board out of. The back will have no...- humanafterall

iPod Touch EQ fixed in iOS 4.0
Just a heads up for you touch users, they finally fixed the EQ in version 4. Previous to version 4, the presets for Electronic, flat, latin, jazz, rock, r&b all sounded the same with no audible variation in sound when changing between pre-sets. If you're gonna rant about how EQ sucks, or isn't...- humanafterall

iPhone 3G - does your eq work below 250hz?
i too have noticed this, the eq is not the same as the iPod at all. The changes are less distinguished on the iPhone, esp on the loudness setting.- humanafterall

7th Gen (2009) iPod Classic 160 SQ
just to clarify..5.5 is not considered a classic, the iPod classic came out in 2007, and was the first full size iPod (ie, not a nano) to sport the aluminum face, and not the white acrylic one..so, the 5th gen and the 5th gen enhanced (5.5) is NOT a classic. Yes, I want to be technical- humanafterall

7th Gen (2009) iPod Classic 160 SQ
A friend wanted me to load her first gen nano with some music, as she does not have a computer but received a hand me down nano. I had the pleasure of auditioning it to see what I have been missing, as I sold my first 30GB 5.5g a few years ago (I know..doh!), and "upgraded" to a 2007 Classic...- humanafterall
