I dont think my Vali amp was ever right and now i think its really dying. I probably should have returned it a year or two ago when I bought it =(.

How are the hd600 with the Vali ? 

Im hoping to get a pair of HD600s for christmas. Currently I am using a audioengine d1 amp/dac with my old ad700 headphones. Should I be upgrading to a new amp to get the most out of my hd600s ?

Im really desperate Ive lost both and now its really uncomfortable. Ran in to trouble with my other headphones and now I need to buy some cushions to use my AD700s.    In case Im no explaining it well this is what I mean if anyone knows where I could get them it would make me super happy!    

    Ok guys update ...after some back and forth with hifiman and finding my warranty card they finally sent me a replacement headband    anyone know what size screwdriver will unscrew the screws on the side that connect to the headband ? nothing I have works 

  yea man I really took good care of them I didnt even have them long enough to drop them or anything    it just fell off while I was wearing it...same thing with the connector piece of the cable    I would think they were a counterfeit or something if the sound on them wasnt IMPECCABLE...

    The little elastic straps where I circled is why I personally find the 702s uncomfortable ( they make the headstrap dig into my head Im gonna be honest and say I even went as far as cutting the elsatic bands and I still didnt find it real comfortable just not enough cushion for me) then...

If I didnt have the money for a receiver right now would an astro mixamp plus a good amp work for decent sound out of my PS4 ?   (just a reminder PS4 is digital only so Im basically looking for a good way to get an amp hooked to it through optical to use with my AKG 702s)

I bought a new pair of AKG 720 headphones and I have a creative sound blaster Z soundcard which they sound pretty good with   but  what I really want them for is my PS4/Xbox    So Im assuming I need an amp with an optical input ?    My budget is around 200$

I also bought a creative sound blaster Z with them. Is the next step getting a good AMP ? Im looking for something to hook up to my gaming systems (ps4) probably through optical cables.    Any suggestions ? 

I just installed this card to go with my new AKG 702s but for some reason I can only get it to play in the left ear. Ive tried other headphones so its the card not the headphones    Nothing will make it play both sides when I do a test the right side lights up in the drivers but it just plays...
