Comparison of Dacmagic and 840c as dac.
I'm eager to find out too. I emailed AudioAdvisor and they told me the sound is comparable to 740C and definitely a step down from 840C. But you never know until you audition it yourself.- bubblegummy

Transformer for converting Voltages
Hi guys, All of the equipments that I have now are using 110V (US). I'm planning to move back to my country where they use 220-240V. Any good suggestion for a transformer? Will that affect the sound at all if I add a transformer? I'm worried about noise and etc. Thanks- bubblegummy

Upsampling: does this reviewer have a valid point?
To be honest with you guys, when I switch on the upsampling mode in my 963SA player, there is a sence of brightness and I don't like it. I still prefer Music Hall CD25 for redbook CD playback. That's just my opinion. Also, it depends on your system as well.- bubblegummy

Philips DVD 963A- A review/comparison
I have a question. For stereo CD playback on the 963SA, should I connect my ouput at the multichannel post? I see there are 2 sets of L/R output, one for the multichannel and one for the video. Also, do I need to configure anything if I were to play 2 channel stereo music? I notice the sound...- bubblegummy

Hi guys, I'm about to place an order for a Sony 222ES SACD player. Any thoughts or better suggestions? I haven't listen to it before. The reason why I would buy it is because it has a changer. Legendary PCDPs
Hmm.....I have both Sony 777 and DE-J01 and I like DE-J01 more. Of course, 777 has a better headphone out but DE-J01 has a very good line out.....better than 777 line out IMHO. (Both through my CMOY amp and Senn's 580. ) The strange thing is when I plug in my Sony V6 into the headphone out of...- bubblegummy

What is everyone's take on Rio Volt mp3 cd player ? RESPOND NOW~!
I don't own one but my housemate has it. I think the Rio Volt sounds pretty good. It's the best MP3/CD player outhere now. Sound quality isn't bad at all although it has a weak output. One more thing is it has a weak battery life. But then, I think it wouldn't be a problem if he has a 1800 maH...- bubblegummy
