That's alright. I really do hope they have that option in the future. Could be a pretty neat look (half and half with the two abalones)- EternalShadow

Could anyone confirm that you can get the blue abalone for custom IEM? I see mother of pearl and what looks to be (although still beautiful, not my preference) abalone. Might even be cool to do left faceplate in blue abalone and right in normal abalone if that option exists- EternalShadow

Damn, I wish that cable deal lasted longer. I also wish I listened to the U12t so that I had something to reference your impressions to. My friend mentioned the U12t treble was too smoothed for him. But I don't know what his taste is compared to mine. I think a perfect iem freq for me would be...- EternalShadow

Haha, fair enough. How does the treble quantity between the U12t and A18S compare ;)- EternalShadow

Wow, been awhile since I've been in this thread. My friend just got a U12t, Z1R, and Voyager 14 and has mentioned that airiness and treble extension on the U12t is not quite an the level of the Voyager. Out of curiosity, how does the A18S treble compare in terms of airiness and extension to the...- EternalShadow

I'm really sad about this price increase. I won't be participating when I know you can get a HD650 for maybe 10-20 dollars more on black friday sales- EternalShadow

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
That's pretty interesting. I didn't read any of the comments and it's been about 2 months since I've listened to my opus. Noticed instantly. Personally, I like the change since my U10 has slightly recessed mids without the impedance adapter. I'm now wondering if I need it at all now- EternalShadow

Anyone else noticing sound differences from the new firmware? It's been some time since I've used my mobile rig, but it seems like vocals have come forward, a welcome thing for my 64 Audio U10- EternalShadow

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF
My friend had a great time at canjam. He's just dipping the toes with headphone audio (I convinced him to get the HD6XX), but he was extremely impressed with the Atticus. He enjoyed the Eikon as well with classical (in his words, stellar and one of the best referenceish type songs at the show)...- EternalShadow

ATTICUS and EIKON, the new dynamic driver headphones from ZMF
Wow, that's exactly how I felt. The tracks on the Sony DAP were mostly acoustic, so I didn't even get a real feel for the bass, but it was just so non special. I ended up stopping listening to it because I just didn't feel into it at all. I'm big on vocals, but listen to a lot of vocal trance...- EternalShadow

My single end Jack is shifted to one side within the housing. Works fine and is stable, but a bit weird to look at. Anyone else have the same?- EternalShadow

1964 Ears Adel IEMs
Finally got myself a much better source than my phone (opus #1 dap) for my u10 and I think it's time to get the UE buffer Jack. Mids and treble are still ever so slightly recessed, and even with the u10 vs u12, I think there still is a little bit of extra mid bass that hurts the lower mids. In...- EternalShadow

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
got my opus yesterday, updated all the firmware, and dumped some long listened to music on the opus. First impression is very good soundstage, clean, great instrument separation, and good detail. Really woke my 64 audio u10 up, which I had prior been using with my phone and hadn't been impressed...- EternalShadow

thebit Opus#1 DAP from South Korea
As I am fairly new to the portable game, I'm not sure if I understand what's to gain here. Is the amp section in the centrance superior? Why wouldn't you just use a phone with the centrance if that was the case? Or are you utilizing the dac of the opus with the amp of the centrance? Sorry, not...- EternalShadow
