Grado Cleaning, how do you clean the ear pads. Can I just put them under water? (obviously pads taken off). Can I use soap? Does the color come out?

Ok, I was thinking of making a section or an "artist" on my zen touch for critical listening, and comparing headphones. So I need some songs... I need one for bass, preferably nothing bloated, like something with short impact something like the begining of "Anna Begins" by Counting Crows...

Did anyone just watch comedy central, with the comedian Zach Galifianakis. He is hilarious. I almost never laugh from Tv comics, but he is the only one that does. He sits on a piano and plays and talks at the same time. he's hilarious.

Sry to have to post this, but recently there was a post with someone showing their GRado carrying case using the foam outline of the headphones that comes in the box. I can't search for some reason, everytime i search it starts, but then just stops

Ok, I just took off the pads from my Grados and I'm wearing them without pads. They sound brighter and a little clearer. If I were to buy bowls, would it give me the clearer sound? While still having the comfort.

Since I love Counting Crows, I got a reccomendation for The Why Store, and a few songs are pretty sweet. You have to listen to one in particular "Broken Glass". Listen to it on high volume!!!!! The opening guitard on each side 1 inch from your head is rockin.

Equalizer ok, so how does it work--> it's all in proportion right? so lets say you have 3 switches Bass- 12 Mids- 2 Highs- 3 if you wanted more bass, wouldn't you just use these settings? Bass- 12 Mids- -12 Highs- -11 Also, can anyone with a zen touch or anything...

If grados were in a more comfortable and better looking housing like the SA1K, would they lose their sound?

They are awesome!!!!!!!! They are even comfortable!!!!! awesome, so lively, and forward. GREAT BUY!!!!!! Only problem is the jack has a fat surrounding thing, and doesn't fit well in my Zen Touch.

With the new ipod craze, and the ear buds, if Bose were to make ear buds for like $50, I think they would sell like crazy, especially in white. Just a thought, don't know why I am giving Bose ideas to make more overpriced headphones.

Anyoen know the cheapest place to get some Grado Sr 60s?

I just got them they aren't very comfortable, too small, not enought space from the pad to the driver. They are really dark, not too good for games, (my intentions). I'll keep testing them, and see what I think.

The Eggos have arrived. Kinda Comfy, jsut a little small, and not as comfy as the bose I was hoping to compare them too, and not as comfy as the sa1k, because there isn't as much space. not as good soundstage, sound close to me. how many ours of burn in

What's up with Grados? Why should I have gotten them over my SA1K? Are they more detailed? Can't be more comfortable. What is so great about them?

One thing i noticed is that with headphones u feel more engaged into the music, because it blocks out noise and surrounds ur head.
