Gaming Headphones ~$50

I'm getting 50 back to spend on headphones our exchange student broke. So, I would like to get some for gaming...

criteria in order of importance.

1. very comfortable

2. Good Soundstage

3. Good Bass

4. Good SQ

5. long cord

What about the Sennheiser HD280? I think that they can be found use far around 50-65.

Thats all I can think of right now or maybe you could get some lower end sennheisers. I don't know about soundstage though.

I quite like the HD201s for gaming, actually. Better positioning, if a bit tinnier than my DT231s, obviously they're not gonna be as good as the DT770s I've got lined up but they'll do for now. And the value is sublime

I will get shot for saying this here but...

I love HD570's for gaming. Excellent comfort for long-term use and good positioning. Game sounds are defined and the lowends are full enough for gunshots and such (I play Counter-Strike). Try to get some on Ebay for around your price range.

I won't shoot you kukyfrope.

I've had some very strange gaming synergy experiences. Used to play CS 1.0+ with PII 350 and weird onboard sound system paired with $2 oldschool sony walkman headphones, and I had wallhack-like sound. Got the "h4x" and boot a lot, but also didn't help that I played with dialup back then...

try that Zalman 5.1 heaphone, for serious gamer!
