did you ever try the alpha pads?

I opened the one listed with 108, don't want to open the other as this is a gift, want to to still have the plastic wrap on it, once they open it maybe I can get a listen.

    well didn't open them yet, was planning on giving one to a friend so wanted to know the difference without opening both :)   Which one should I keep? lol....probably doesn't matter

Oh ok $8 not so bad, too bad these are my only IEMs right now, so I'd be out of something for my commute.  Guess I can read a book.   Yeah I know, I'm going to send them back and see what happens.  Next time I'll get something different if this continues to be a problem.

  Having the same issue, Penon asked me to ship them back in the mail.  No idea how much that is going to cost to ship to Hong Kong from VA.  They are going to replace them.

My left connection seems bad, anyone know of a link to just the regular cable? or is this new cable worth it (don't think anyone has heard it yet)?  I'm pretty sure my connection issue is the cable, if I wiggle it around it seems to be ok.

Hey,   I got my VDS3S and I'm trying to figure out if they are faulty.  They sound slightly off to me, all my music sounds different from my Audio Technica ATH-A900, Vsonic GR02BE and then my speaker setup (Asecnd Acoustics CMT-340 SE + HSU VTF-3).  I feel the highs are tinny or too pronounced...

  Yeah I think it might be overkill right now.  I did plan to get the Sierra Towers and Rythmik F25 in the future, but thats probably a long way out right now.  Things could all change depending on where I move in the next year.  Might have to go the headphone route instead lol

  Luckily I didn't buy the turntable yet. I tried resetting it, tried headphones, will try a few more things tonight.  Just didn't have the time last night to do all of these.  Video works fine, just no sound, not even the speaker setup where it makes a noise to test the levels. Been reading...

Well I just had a major set back.  My Onkyo 708 receiver makes no sound what so ever all of the sudden, fantastic!

Thanks all!   The JVC QL-Y66 looks great, but I think I should go new for reliability sake as this is my first proper turntable. I don't know enough about them at the moment to risk buying used turntable.   I'll look into what my receiver's capabilities are on the phono, probably not much...

Hi All,   I'm trying to figure out a clean way to fix this.  I can't get heat shrink tubing over this area as it would have to really wide to get over the IEM. Can you splice heat shrink tubing? I didn't think so, wasn't able to find an answer to that anywhere. Not really inclined to use...

i decided to just get some yuin pk3s, not the biggest fan of IEMs they feel weird to me and plus I kind of like to hear whats going on around when I am on the metro or walking about town.....thanks all

i am a fan just got mine like 3 days ago, been burning them in for a while and they sound freaking awesome now. The bass is perfect amount for me, i am loving them. I perfer them to my A900s right now for music! which is crazy!
