Tips on fixing my IEM cable?

Hi All,
 
I'm trying to figure out a clean way to fix this.  I can't get heat shrink tubing over this area as it would have to really wide to get over the IEM. Can you splice heat shrink tubing? I didn't think so, wasn't able to find an answer to that anywhere. Not really inclined to use electrical tape, want it to look as clean as possible. Are their other types of heat shrink that I could use, like a wrap or something? I really have no clue.

yeah that's what I thought, no one would have any suggestions for this haha, thanks though....they are now officially dead.
