Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.
I was all about the KSCs at first, then I switched to the Porta-Pros for a few years (Basshead) But now i think i'm back! I prefer the sharper sound, with a pinch of EQ in the bass, not as bloated as the Porta-Pros and you can hear guitars cleanly still. I'm ordering a new headband because...- Astrozombie

Advice for Center Channel - Match? Change Fronts?
I would look for one on ebay....................actually first I would look at a $500 Subwoofer, you won't regret it I voted for the PC, it is labeled "Primus" and looks similar, it might even be exactly the same and may have replaced the older one in their line.- Astrozombie

Sigh, it crashes after adding a few albums UPDATE: I tried a different USB port and it appears to be working now, hope this helps someone in the future. Ok so I got it to work, I was worried that it would only play single folders at a time, but i just restarted it and had it update the...- Astrozombie

Koss Portapro Thread
Seems it took over a month, but i got them back!!! Wow!!! When they talk about "burn-in" being all in your head, people getting "better" cans and preferring their old ones i think they might be on to something. (Which they then tell you to listen to the new pair for a month without listening to...- Astrozombie

Anyone ever sent these in to be repaired? I send them like a month ago and haven't heard anything............ Koss might have a strike against them with how flawless the Px-100 RMA was with Sennheiser.- Astrozombie

Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.
Sears and Kmart usually carry these, I recommended them to some people standing by the headphones...........not sure if they actually bought um, probably not, always seems like nobody ever follows advice people give them- Astrozombie

The Audiophile Bass Lounge (Basshead club part II)
Bassheads!! I'm a bit underwhelmed with the Fidelios, what other open-basshead cans would you recommend? HE-400, HD650, SR325, DT990?- Astrozombie

Headphones for metal music - ultimate solution
Well isn't this interesting, I recently narrowed my list for my next cans to the DT770 and 840s. I heard great things about the Hd-25 but they have a short cord and are on-ear. I liked the 440s in the past and want something with a little less bass than my Q-40s, plus I've heard the 770s can...- Astrozombie

Open headphone recommendations (HD 600 vs Fidelio X1 to start)
X1s are on my wishlist as i'm a basshead and the 600s are not only more expensive but also higher impedance (I like to listen out of my MP3 player)- Astrozombie

Koss Portapro Thread
Freakin sweet!! K-Mart had them for $25 and i picked up a pair to give to my dad (When i spotted him with some crappy skullcandy portables) and threw those away! A few months ago I passed through there and they had the KSC75 for like $7, which still isn't as good as the office depot people...- Astrozombie

The Audiophile Bass Lounge (Basshead club part II)
I came to say the PX-100s should be on the list but i see they now are! I'm loving these, I kind of regret buying so many pairs of Portapro/Sportapro/Ksc75 and never trying these. Possibly my favorite pair of cans ever, I think I may even prefer them to the Q-40s.....and i had my doubts because...- Astrozombie

PX100-II Review | Discussion Thread
Having only the M-Audio Q-40 now I am really loving the bass on these!! (They're open!?) I looked at all the entry level Senns and saw which ones have the least Treble drop-off and took a chance on these for portables. Wasn't sure if i would dig the "dark veiled" sound but so far i have to say...- Astrozombie

The Basshead Club
What would you guys add to your collection?? M50, DT770 or SRH840 (I know these aren't considered "basshead") When I already have the Q40 and HFI 580, keep in mind most of my listening is on a portable DAP.- Astrozombie

Best subwoofer for music for my Swan M200 MKIII speakers/PC/room set-up? (Pics inside)
I like how OP pretty much names all the heavyweight subs Good luck, I'd get the M8 just cause it's the cheapest (or a pair of Dayton 1200s), after that I'd check out SVS or Hsu- Astrozombie

PS4 vs XBOX ONE (What would you buy and why? No fanboy like comments please)
Get my Ps3 fixed, buy the 10 or so games I still want to play. Upgrade my video card and then see how much the Ps4 is going for.............Xbox usually has very little exclusives that i'm interested in. The console gets cheaper, the games get cheaper and if there are any glitches hopefully...- Astrozombie

A Lesson in Audiophilism - Saving Wallets: 15 minutes reading this will save you 15% or more
oooooooooooooh boy, when you open the door to Speakers it's even more overwhelming. The choices were easier for someone with no money I waited for the Newegg sales of Polk and Pioneer.
