I found the No5909 benefited from about 50 hours of burn in (using Isotek and Tellurium Q discs). Those hissing and popping noises the burn in uses seem to take the slight edge of the highs. Now it sounds quite smooth. I could also just be going deaf, and that's why the highs seems smooth.

Yeah the apk manual install is a great idea and at least will get the app going for you.

You are better of getting the best and most transparent fuse, rather than voicing the system with a fuse. This way it will reveal what component/cable you need to get next.

The problem with Roon is it does not sound anywhere as good as the native dedicated app, at least it doesn’t on my Lindemann Bridge streamer. Not as transparent. I now have a Naim HE in house and will test this out.
