CrossRoads MylarOne X3, XB, and Classic Owners Club

Just got my pair today. It took the package 5 days to reach Perth. Had a quick listen through HeadFive straight away as I could not resist. Less bass compared to KSC75. Better isolation and mid-range clarity than my old AKG K81 DJ. Exicted to see how it will sound like once it has clocked some...

Xin SuperMicro-IV VS RSA Tomahawk Impressions

Two thumbs up for the nice review, EFN. It's probably one of the most straight forward review I have read in a while. I've been looking forward to hearing about your thoughts regarding the comparison between these two high-end portable amps. I must say the outcome of the review has made me more...

    Casual Headphones

For home listening, MS1 rules over AKG K81 from personal experience. I cant tell you much the Audio Technica, but I'm positive that a pair of MS1 is suitable for your taste of music. Another vote for MS1.

My impressions on the Alessandro MS-2's

Yeah, wearing the MS2 gets a while to get used to. Then again the clamping force of the MS2i is not as bad as that of the AKG K81 DJ in my opinion

AKG K81DJ and glasses... do the two mix?

I always wear them with my glasses. First few weeks were a bit torturous. After that, I got used to the clamping force. The headband probably had loosen itself a bit as well and the pads became softer. I guess its a matter of getting used to it. IMHO, getting used to this headphone has made...

ELECTROHEADS! AKG K26P for EDM Electronic music?? (house, psy, trance, etc...)

AKG K81 is fit for travel since it comes with a leather carry case and is foldable. Highly recommended for travel but not exercising. You'll probably have room left for a cheapo KSC75 which might be great for exercising.

Before Head-Fi I was a BASSHEAD, were you?

Still is a bit of a bass head from time to time. I guess you need some fun bass from time to time from headphones like KSC75 and AKG K81 DJ to keep commuting interesting.
