Anyone compared it with the CD version? Very exciting to see material like this coming out in hi res. Think I'm going to have to get this one, HDTracks is getting a good flow of money from me nowadays... -

More 80's music like this?
Another Psychedelic Furs fan. Also, Men Without Hats: Safety Dance Yazoo: Only you; Nobody's Diary U2: New Years Day I love Til Tuesday especially Voices Carry but they also had a lot of other fabulous songs. And I can't resist some 80s metal like Lay it Down from Ratt, or some Night... -

Head-Fi and HDtracks (David Chesky) Collaborate to Assemble A Headphone System Test Album!
Yes, thanks very much for this - exciting times indeed! Downloading the 24/96 flac files now. A bit OT, but I downloaded the 16/44 files of Sad Wings of Destiny by Judas Priest from HDtracks the other day to replace my original cassette copy (!). Had a blast listening to it again in AIFF...- jamvanman

Disturbing Trend
Just on the portability of the HD650s. I only use mine at home. But I have a small place, my hi-fi is in one room and often I want to listen in another room for various reasons. In that case I need a portable amp for my HD650s (no space for a second or third home amp).- jamvanman

After a Home Amp for HD650s Better than my Hornet
I started thinking of the Darkvoice just because I had read some good reviews and thought the price was pretty affordable. But then I wanted to make sure it would be clearly a step up on the Hornet (albeit a different sound). But then I wondered whether I would wish that I had gotten something...- jamvanman

After a Home Amp for HD650s Better than my Hornet
I have a Hornet for my portable rig (which I love) but am now looking to build a home rig for my HD650s. Something that would be a clear step up from the Hornet - perhaps in the US$600 range although I am reasonably flexible on this. I first had my eye on the Darkvoice 332 which seemed to be...- jamvanman

Those who waiting Xin amp, post and get your date of arrival !
The way I think of it, this is just part and parcel of who Dr Xin is. Not right or wrong, just is. No doubt he could make more money if he did things differently, but its pretty clear that this isn't what motivates him. And probably just about everyone who buys an amp from him knows the...- jamvanman

xins rference amp now availble!!!
I'm sure I read somewhere where Xin said he was charging more for sooner delivery because he was so busy he didn't want to sell too many immediately but if someone was really keen then he wouldn't want to deny them - so a rationing device till he gets the backlog more manageable.- jamvanman

Corda Move FR graphs before and after burn in, with and without crossfeed
Very interesting to see the change from burn-in. Thanks. Might be interesting to see how they look after another couple of 100 hours - presumably it would show the Move doesn't need to be burnt in for much more than 100 hours?!- jamvanman
