Where to buy Klipsch X5 under $200?
I've been interested in buying some X5s, been searching the threads. X10 vs X5, etc. People keep mentioning getting them cheaper than the MSRP of 200. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any help would be appreciated.- gabe294

IEMs reshelled into Custom Molds $80 in the USA (TripleFi 10, SE530, etc.) from FISHER HEARING
I've had mine for a while now. But it was the experience that was great. Kaysen is fast with the return emails, (But would only answer once a day) and she personally answers the 800 number. Free shipping both ways for any modifications. I sent them back once, no questions asked trimmed the...- gabe294

How to Clean UE700's?
Honestly, it's the filter. I bought mine brand new and the green was there from the start. It's somewhat of a mesh but very tightly dont because you cannot see through it at all. It's stuck in and there is no way to remove it. The way the 700's are, using comply tips the only cleaning I've...- gabe294

Looking for a Grado-Like, Sub-$150 IEM
After doing a bit of searching, I ended up choosing to go with the Monster Turbine. A few members claim the Turbine have the same sound signature as Grado. I also had a set budget and luckily a pair went on the FS forum. I'll be getting them soon, hopefully they do somewhat sound the same as the...- gabe294

Portable amp for Grado SR80i
I started with the SR80i's as well. Explore the Amplification for sale forum, find amps that might interested you (in terms of price and size, etc) then use the search feature and see what people have to say about them. I've seen a mini3 for sale now and then.- gabe294

Fried Headphone Jack on Corda Move
Like the title says, the output jack on my Corda Move are clear on top so I can see right inside each one (Input and Output). The output jack, half of it is white/grey and sound has essentially stopped in the left side of my headphones. Obviously it burnt or something. Wish I could post...- gabe294

OK here we go: Question ALO Rx, TTVJ Portable, RSA Shadow....
Sorry to bump this thread but... Ting.Mike, your signature says your past amps are the RSA Shadow, TTVJ and the ALO Rx. What do you think about them? I'm trying to justify the upgrade from the Tomahawk.- gabe294

Got my first pair of Grados today.
I ended up modding my SR80i's and changing the headband to the jmoney leather one... Holy crap the comfort level when through the roof! I had some AKG 240s and a ton of IEMs but the Grado SR80i are by far the best headphones I've head. I have a small budget and will probably not upgrade but...- gabe294

Amazing Portable Amp for Grado 325i's? - Help!
Yea, Im with estreeter lol what about portables. I ended up with a RSA Tomahawk, after trying an iBasso D10 and hating it. BUT the D10 drove my SR80i's great but were not enjoyable for any of my IEMs. Try googling the D10 and Grado, there seems to be some synergy there.- gabe294

Problem with Sony MDR-V6 and Macbook Pro
First for all, welcome to head fi and sorry about your wallet! I have a macbook as well, and I suffer from the same problem. Except it's with Grado SR80i and AKG 240S. My IEMs don't seem to have a problem. Apparently this is a widespread problem with the unibody macs, there is really...- gabe294

What's a good upgrade from Super.Fi 5 Pros?
Why hasn't anyone suggested the UE 700's? I have them and they are amazing... plus they are literally the new and top model of the super.fi series! Right above the Super.Fi 5p's- gabe294

Which are the best sounding "disposable" in-ears under $50? (gift for teenager)
I second the CX-300s. I've heard them, not bad and well under $50 and 2 year warranty. It's a good way to introduce someone to better than stock without spending the bank.- gabe294

Portable Amps a problem at Airports?

IEMs below $150?!?!?!
Well, I dont know how much interest you have but a pair of Super.Fi 5 pros. I used them for about two weeks about a year ago. Best Price and where to buy a High quality 4" 3.5mm to 3.5mm male-to-male cable
I live in Canada and shipping sucks. For actual stores, cables are basically double the price. I post a WTB: mini to mini interconnect (Canada). And got two offers for custom made ones...
