    iPhone 6s Sound Quality

I only hear the hiss/noise only when the iPhone is plugged in. I don't hear any of it when I listen with screen on/off. Not much of an issue to me. I still like my iPod 5.5 generation more :) (Should I iMod it?)

    Shure SE846 Impressions Thread

Hi guys, is it just me, or the stock cable that comes with the SE846 is super hard to remove?   My cable is a bit faulty. When the swooping earpiece isn't in the right position, sometimes, at an angle, my right earpiece has no audio... I reckon it's the cable as the audio is fine most of the...

Thanks for the replying man DJ-ing as in mixing... Just thought it might be cool to have an alternative to mix with SE846 instead of my Sennheiser HD8 DJ (I wear glasses, so having a headphone on me for long periods hurts my ears)   I'm using a DJM 900 nexus right now, and my god, at 25-30%...

Philips A5-PRO "Armin Van Buuren Collaboration" (Owners and impressions)

Hello all. Does anyone have a comparison between this and the Sennheiser HD8 DJ? I wanna know! Currently owned the HD8, not sure if I should get the Philips A5 Pro as well.

I'm using this with SE846. Sounds great! I didn't turn the high gain though... using low gain around 30-40% volume level on the amp.

Hello.  I was wondering at roughly what volume level will it start to damage the SE846? I'm new to this impedance concept, so I just wanna make sure at around what db to avoid and for how long the SE846 can stand loud signals. (I know the file source volume matters too, but I'm asking a...

I was wondering if anyone have a RWA/DIY iMod 5.5 generation. How does the SE846 sound with an imod? Going to mod my iPod soon... and am excited to hear the results.   (FYI: I don't need a 24bit "hi-res" DAP at the moment. Most of my files are 16bit/44.1kHz ALAC, 320kbps MP3 and 256kbps AAC)

Hello I'm new to this iMod area-of-interest as I just recently found an old usable iPod 5.5.... never would have imagined how much I missed. There's a DIY modding service in Hong Kong that uses the following:   Elna SILMIC II 47uf Nichicon MUSE ES 47uf Nichicon MUSE Fine Gold 47uf As I...

hey all, what are some of the cables you guys are using for the SE846? I'm thinking about getting some cables, but never done a lot of research in this area yet.    I did learn that copper wires (the one used in the SE846) are generally better for bass lovers...   What are some of the stuff...

Ipod classic - rockbox - its happening.

Question: So even with iMod + Rockbox, all 24bit / 48kHz FLAC/ALAC files in the harddrive will be downsampled to 16bit/44.1kHz, even if I pair it up with a headphone amp like the Fiio E12A with Fiio L3's LOD cable?   I know this is topic is on Rockbox, but might as well just ask here: so in...

    Fiio X3/X5 vs. Ipod 5.5G + Fiio e12

Not unless you mod it :) (iMod) But it goes up to 24bit / 48kHz max..... I think anything goes beyond that, the iPod can't read it
