Can anyone, please, link me to that post of @m-i-c-k-e-y on this thread, which provides the URL links to those Internet radio stations in FLAC?

Thank you :)

Hey fallas, does anyone know if there's an option to prevent my UAPP player to pause a minute into the time my phone turns the screen off due to inactivity?
Try Settings > System > Pause on Notifications (to OFF).

Ok another update. Following the link @m-i-c-k-e-y left, I emailed EXTREAMSD and their customer service tech Davy rapidly emailed me back (within the hour). He stated that R8 -IS- supported though the document on their website listing supported devices did not list it. We tried some tweaks, the most important of which was to turn UAPP Internal Hires Audio setting for UPSAMPLE = off. This eliminated the flag ‘hires dac not found or set up’ and it appeared that when but perfect = off playback was occurring (playback timer progressed showing time from beginning of the track), but no audible sound played via the R8’s 3.5/4.4 PO. Davy asked me to uninstall/reinstall UAPP.

That fixed it!
I was worried that I may not have access to all my account info, add-on apps, and TIDAL subscription in UAPP, but info was automatically restored (so data must have been been retained by UAPP or Google Play Store)

I did have to turn Upsample =off. At first I did not and got the same old message “ 'Failed to find or set up hires DAC!” But having interacted with Davy I checked that and it was “on” — so I turned it “off” then everything worked perfectly. All other settings were as installed.

I can now toggle Bit perfect on/ off. When on, all playback behaves perfectly- R8 unfolds MQA to 768 KHz (direct =384 KHz in UAPP), and non-MQA to 705 KHz (direct 44 KHz)

When bit perfect =off, MQA plays at 48 KHz, and non MQA at 44 KHz, and I can use PEQ for non MQA songs.

KUDOS to Davy at EXTREAMSD - I rarely encounter this level of responsiveness - especially on the weekend! If I have any additional problems I am confident that EXTREAMSD is there to help and won’t hesitate to ask again. But I will hesitate to tweak settings on my own!
How toggle on off i cant find the option

There's any information regarding full support for the iBasso DX320?

Sorry if this is a bit late, I just saw it. This sounds like a similar and maddening problem I had with UAPP playing Tidal on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+--with the screen off, UAPP would consistently pause every few minutes until I turned the screen on. After a little research, I went to Settings/Apps/UAPP/Battery and set it to Unrestricted, which allows the app to use the battery in the background without restriction. Since making this change, UAPP played ...., well, that fixed the problem completely and it never pauses any more. I was going to say UAPP played perfectly, but that would be untrue since this app is a buggy piece of crap that does too many weird things to list here, often forcing me to restart (and that's in addition to having an absolutely wretched UI compared to stock Tidal). Nonetheless, I use it in order to circumvent Android's dumb automatic upsampling and send a bit perfect stream to my iFi Go bar or Cayin RU6.

My experience has been pretty much the opposite. Only problem I've had is with my phone: If I power it down, I have to rescan my music. But Neutron and the Fiio music app (both of which have uis that are worse, way worse in the case of the former) do the same thing. So I never power off. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker. Since my S6 Lite doesn't do that, I assume it's the phone, which is an old Android 5 pos. Really like how UAPP sounds though.

Mine too, and I use a Galaxy S7 (non-Edge) thats now decommissioned as a mobile phone but lives on via WiFi, and also a Galaxy S10 as my phone.

UAPP is surely not a "buggy piece of crap", been rock solid for me for many years, though admittedly, I do not use TIDAL due to their MQA bull. I'm a Qobuz subscriber. Perhaps therein lies the difference.
I don't use Tidal or Qobuz. I actually stream Amazon HD, which means to do so bit perfectly, I stream via my m11 Pro otg and a Node 2i at home. I only use UAPP for my local library. I couldn't care less about MQA.

UAPP has worked for me for many years too through my LG phones. I have been a Tidal & Qobuz subscriber for a few years, but I'm about to ditch Tidal (it's too expensive compared to Qobuz and the jury is still out when it comes to MQA v Hi Res). I also use UAPP for my SD card HiRes library and it's great.

I use my old LG V30 as a DAP and my V40 as my phone. I do like the fact the LG V-- phones have an integrated MQA full decoder and this is probably why I have kept Tidal up to this point; however, apart from a few Tidal Masters, I don't think MQA offers much sonic difference over Qobuz HiRes. The fact there are Tidal MQA Masters for some albums that don't have a HiRes recording in Qobuz smells dodgy to me too - anyway have decided to cut my losses with Tidal so roll on Qobuz.

Does anyone know of a way to transfer favourite albums (library) from Tidal to Qobuz without using a third party software (Soundiiz, Tune My Music, etc.)? Managed to copy my playlists over, but there seems to be a cap on how many albums you can transfer and I have a lot of albums which would be agonising to do manually.

Hello, thanks for this!

Can anyone tell me, please, how can I find the URL of an Internet Radio station from their website(s)?
How have you found the above quoted URLs, please?

Thank you :)

Hi,

Just got myself a Huawei P40 Pro+ with EMUI 12. As you know, there are no Google services on this devices but there is a go around with Gspace. I was able to install almost all the apps I need. Even UAPP. But when I press the Play button, it says that it can't play through USB because licence can't be verified. Of course I am a full option paid customer of this app. Is there something I can do about this? Thanks.
