First photo default lg player direct from g8x.2nd photo uapp via usb-c to fiio mk2.so am i getting native dsd playback?

My guess after Android 10 update:

Between Lg music player and QuadDAC through phone audio jack - native DSD playback is enabled. One good way to check is no equalizers or audio effect will work in native DSD mode. If equalizer work and you hear difference then dsd to pcm conversion taking place.

Through USB-C, no.

Oops...typo error during DoP explanation.

What i meant to say G8X does not support is DoP (DSD over PCM), which is completely different from native DSD playback support. My V30+ supports DoP. What this means is V30+ is able to transport DSD over its USB-C port to an external DAC. To transmit DSD data on a USB port using DoP is to package the DSD data in PCM form. To be clear, this is NOT a data conversion from DSD to PCM. The data are unchanged. The DAC on the other side of V30's USB port must also be DoP compliant in order to reassemble the DoP PCM bits into a continuous DSD stream. Now with DoP gone for G8X, LG Music app in G8X will perform software conversion of DSD to 88200Hz PCM while transporting through USB-C to the external DAC resulting is some loss in quality.

Please correct me if i am missing anything.

Both photos attached playing same dsd file using uapp from headphone jack.Left is G8x and Right V30+.V30+(android 9) decode dsd while G8x (android 10)downsample to 353khz.
But the defaul lg player show its decoding dsd natively on G8x.So what i dont understand is uapp is downsampling to 352khz

Do you own an M6 and have tried to install, but ran into issues? Enlighten me, I may be able to try and help. (I also may not, but it's worth talking about).

So I guess the key questions are:

Did the LG V50 have the ability to natively (or via DoP) play DSD files prior to Android 10? I am specifically referring to using the V50's Hi-Fi Quad DAC for earphone listening via the headphone jack.
If it did indeed have that ability previously, then is it possible to roll back to Android 9?

When playing native DSD mode in default player, are the equilizers inside the player disabled?

V30+ shows the message "Audio effects are unavailable for high resolution audio files"

And even if they are available are you able to notice while toggling between various preset equilizer settings?

There is no on/off toggle for the equalizer on the G8x audio setting.but it in in Normal setting

While playing DSD through default music player, is equalizer enabled? Can you change between different presents, like Rock, Pop, Jazz or even custom? Do you hear any audible differences during DSD playback with stock player?

Yup there are some slight changes to the sound when i try changing some of the equalizer preset.So that mean the G8x default player is not playing bit-perfect
