Has anyone had their TF10s reshelled by Unique Melody?

Very tempting to reshell  and add another driver.

Do a search in the unique melody remould appreciations thread.  In the end I sent mine off to fisher.  Worked out a bit cheaper than going through ampcity.

Yeah, the cable is pretty sweet...

And that's an (even older) iPod Mini! It's pretty beat up but it keeps on going so no reason to replace it.

Yes I have and I added a pair of mid drivers.  The mids are now in the right place (in front of the band), but it seems that the bass got more powerful.  It feels like it's punching you in the face when you're listening to bass heavy music like hip hop and R&B.  That's using my laptop with flac, E7 as DAC(volume 60 and no bass boost), L7 line out, and E11 as amp(volume 2 and no bass boost).  If I turn the E11's bass boost to 2 it becomes unbearable to listen to bass heavy music, it really hurt my ears

cool blue and red tips! are they confortable?

Yep! They are standard Sony Hybrid tips actually so they're the same comfort as the white Hybrid tips I had on there before.

How did you make your cables' pin look like that!? I made my own cable, and did a pretty bad looking job on making that pin that connects to the actual 10pro's. Anyway, nice cables.

Thanks, I made them by paying Chris_Himself to make me a cable.

Yeah Sony Hybrids come in Small and Short Small which is even smaller.

Don't know off the top of my head how small the small Hybrids are compared to the stock smalls.

loved them, but mine broke with the spout falling off... and being lost forever. sometimes i feel that the ultimate ears build quality isnt the best.

despite leaving this topic two pages ago, i thought some of you might appreciate this :p

to finish my own story, i fashioned my own nozzle out of 2 pen shafts and a pen lid, doesn't quite sound the same any more, but its close, and i tried!

anyone got a spare right nozzle from a broken pair to send to me?

^ THAT'S GENIUS! Frankenstein TF10s.

Anyway, new TF10 owner here! Got it as a backup earphone to my JH5 customs.
A short summary of what i think it sounds like.

Bass: Plentiful, good texture but slightly flabby. Perhaps i should amp it.

Midrange: This, i do not like. Slightly recessed and lack the creaminess that i love, a la SM3.

Treble: Quite good, extends well, but can get quite congested.

Overall i'm happy with the TF10s as my backup earphones. For $150, it's good value.
I will probably amp them with a p-51 mustang. That amp should boost the midrange and vocals. Getting a null-audio lune cable tomorrow too, since i live in Singapore i can just pick it up myself.

Happy listening guys!
