Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread

sorry if this was covered in 228 pages (i've read about 40 is so :p ) but does anyone know if there is a tip that fits these that is similar to the shure soft flex (grey silicone/rubber) tips?  the stock tips are pretty good, but they don't quite isolate as well while staying flexible, and not being made of foam.

thanks for any info.

Hi everyone,

So I'm new to these forums. I've been reading this topic for a week before I got my triple.fi 10 pro's (yesterday). Before them I was using Shure E2c's. I like them quite a lot, but I expected the jump to be bigger, especially in the bass area. Oh well. Should I give it time? I am using stock eartips, the largest that came with the earphones. I used to use the Shure flex tips, the small size, and the fit was better than ti is now with these. Even if I use those tips with triple.fi's, the seal isn't the same, I don't know why.

Now, I want to order a better cable, I don't like these stock cables, they feel a bit cheap. I ordered my earphones from Thomann, and am looking at these two cables, but don't know if they will fit my Triple.fi's:

or this one

But I would really love to have that extra protection over the ear loop (like these have: http://www.thomann.de/de/ultimate_ears_ue4_pro.htm)

Any tips?

Thanks,

-J

Amen to that. When they come out with Cellular Media Centers a revolution would take place. Lol.

64GB vs. 160gb. about double the space. 128gb should be coming out soon. Double the space half the battery life lol.

LOL amen to that

I got my TripleFi 10s yesterday and I LOVE them. I was worried after reading about people saying that they didn't fit well for their ears but they are perfect for mine. The Foam tips fit amazing as well as the small rubber tips. I'm happy I chose them over the other IEMs I was looking at.

I know when I got them the first time I was PO'd because I couldn't figure out how to put it on. I felt like a zebra with one leg. Helpless and useless lol. It wasn't until i figured out how to fit it to realize that I LOVED them.

Definitely my favorite BA based set.  Before this I was beginning to think that I just wasn't going to take to this particular technology.  Lately, I find that I've mostly been listening to the TFs.  I wish they had more bass (especially in terms of extension) but they are a vast improvement compared to my Super.fi 5 Pros.  Still probably prefer my FX500s overall but these are probably the closest competitors.
