I had the UE TF10. i loved the sound of them. I would use them at work all day long wile i would fix apple computers. Till one day a co worker thought it would be a funny joke to put them in a customer unit box thinking i would check before i send off with UPS. Well that customer got my set of TF10's and i was with out.

So in a pinch went with the Westone 4R's and till this day i still miss the TF 10's they were a good IEM and i would not mind picking up a used set at some point

Well thats my story :)

Ive owned the TF10's for almost a year, they've done me a great service on buses paired with triple flanges, but it looks like the cables are giving up and retailers arent stocking up on tf10's anymore. I hear the ue900's or the heir 4ai's are a worthy replacement, might not be missing them much then.

If it is just the cables - there are a number of nice replacements available without breaking the bank - you can get the VI (cable w/mic) on ebay for under $40... Also a number of aftermarket cables under $50 - look up ebay seller "sunricky"

I bought one of his "Dark Lord" cables just yesterday for about 41 USD. Can't vouch for the quality (as I don't have it yet, obviously) but the price seems right.
