Not bad? Ouch..

I just received my first non Apple TWS, the Noble Fokus Prestige (costing 10 times less but that’s nothing more than a funny coincidence). These are certainly better than “not bad”, bearing in mind that it’s a TWS. Remarkably good sound stage, very nice DD bass, maybe a touch recessed in the mids but not a real issue. They fit me quite well too. The monitors and the case look awesome. What a marvelous product. Well done Noble!

It'll be better if you try Apx yourself
It's just my personal opinion and it sounds exactly like what Piotr describe it to me, so there's nothing wrong with that

Busy week with work and now on a break in Seville, Spain. Some questions to respond to on ZX300 plus a comparison between Perpetua and TS-316 which I’ll definitely get to… worth noting only one of them will remain with me unfortunately. Oh and still to provide impressions of Project M - brought with me and will share thoughts over the weekend at latest.

Yesterday I started my day in London, back to Dublin, and finally Seville - stunning part of Spain and after a chilly start, now a balmy 14c - hot compared to Dublin in low single digits.

Just a random post: Reading a lot about different cables on this thread. First, I am a total "cable believer:. Love the sound of PWAudio cables, and have owned $1,000 and $2,200 cable, and they are good, but now i have a 7N 8 wire copper that i bought off Ali Express that I paid $60 for, built like a tank and it sounds phenomenal, no need or desire to buy any other cable. Just something to consider...

I've had a great run with my physical impressions. I got them in 2017 and sent them to 64 Audio, got 4 customs made with them through 2023.

FiR then got the STLs and I currently have 2 customs from them in 2022/23 still snug as a bug. I've probably gone up down 20kg a few times since then and an addition impacted wisdom tooth removed.

That aside, Nayparm 1A and Raven both out for delivery today

It was never an issue...I tried to convey that. Though it came close on a couple occasions. More detailed impressions on the Canpur were posted here if you're interested. I tried to condense that post into the notes on the Spreadsheet.

I went once but that was in 2015 and IEMs were not very present. Not even headphones, really. It was all about vintage Lenco turntables and Thomas Mayer amps for me at the time so perhaps I missed some rooms...

As with all shows in the west IEMs have had a greater presence in the past few years as the market expands in this part of the world. I noticed a huge increase in portable stuff even between CanJam SoCal 2022 and 2023. I think the same is true of High End Munich as well, though obviously not to the same degree as CanJam. FWIW the Campfire Trifecta made its world debut at High End Munich in the spring of 2022.
