I would 100% make IEMs with dinosaur names...now I just need someone to send me the parts to make them...

Honestly feeling a lot of this. I window shop a lot (yes, a lot), but I'm not at all feeling my current setup is lacking. CanJam upcoming feels to me like what Comic Con used to be, which is that there isn't anything I necessarily "need", but if I don't buy anything I'll feel like I missed the opportunity for unique souvenirs. Do the cable companies like Eletech or any of the other bigwigs ever do any big exclusives at CanJam? I know the Thummim LE was unveiled at CanJam NYC, but have there been any other special items uniquely available at the show?It is a strange feeling after 2 years in this hobby that I am finally feeling content where I am at. I adore all three of my iem's and my 4 tgxear buds. They cover just about all of my listening tastes. Am I still curious about other monitors, yes of course. However I am NOT having urges to Buy! Buy! Buy! I feel this is a really great place to be in, having zeroed in on my tastes and preferences. I have an Ibasso 3MAX SS incoming and after that, I am most looking forward to just enjoying the MUSIC!
FAMOUS LAST WORDS! hahaha! Time will only tell, oh and my signature.

Yeah I must say I’m very pleased with my collection and while still of course curious about other new toys, there’s nothing pushing me over the edge right now that I absolutely must have.
A new cable arrived for my FW10K, stock is 3.5mm so I was keen to go balanced and something that matched better versus MMCX cables I already have. A ‘cheap’ cable by this thread standards at around $130 landed from HifiGo. Pleased with the appearance etc and a nicely made cable - not one I’ve heard of but I found positive impressions on Head-Fi and took a chance. The connection is nice and secure, plus they don’t spin freely as is the case with stock.

Since we are doing our pics of the day. They look much more stunning in person actually. Faceplate is a pearl white. Unique white sleeving on a customized Obsidian cable from Penon. I know a lot of you guys have no idea about Penon audio.
These guys have been in the industry and behind the scenes for some of the best audio goods for much longer than you would imagine and the owner of Penon happens to be their lead sound engineer/ designer. Guy makes his own cables and all of his Penon and ISN branded IEMs he sells on his site. These guys sell some of the best value audio products in the industry which is a part of their business model. They have a very low key way of marketing their products as they pretty much let their products do the marketing for them.
I have gotten to know Mr. Chi Kong Hui of Penon over the years and one aspect I appreciate about this guy is that he has a clear sound direction for all his products he sells. I know there are talk of the Impact shown here being a Trailli clone. Well yes and no. There are some similarities to the bird but the design here was made to actually do one better. And this is without using an uber expensive cable to go with it. This being said, these do scale something amazing with higher end cables which folks that end up getting a set will find out soon enough.

Still my personal GOAT. Should have some competition in a couple of weeks when Storm makes an entrance...
And yes, that's the stock cable.

I agree....Extremely high...with the same price you can have a Dap de Ponta and several iem's....The Traillii Ti price is pretty ridiculous lol. 8,327.90 USD.
On that note, I'm eyeing the Eletech Tyrian, I just genuinely don't know what I'd pair it with.
