August Fun isn't exactly a great name. Compare that to mythological figures and places. August Fun seems like it should be an $89 cable just based on its name.

Athena, Zeus, Hercules, Aphrodite, Medusa, etc. Those are the names for thousand dollar cables.

Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond, etc. Same thing.

Yeah idk, his marketing is weird. It’s entirely dependent on word of mouth and reviews I guess. To be honest when I heard of “1960s” back in like 2017? I thought the same thing, and well, it’s pretty damn legendary now. So I guess time will tell. I just wish the august fun wasn’t blue, much prefer the black of the 1960s 2 wire.

Now you guys are just showing off.
Sorry about that. It wasn't my intent. I actually wasn't going to post anything until my wife showed me that picture and I couldn't believe how great it came out.

It somehow reminded me about this album; probably known by everyone here:

Video unavailable (not sure if it's a Canada thing).

In other news I feel a full review of the Zen Pro brewing.

Possibly. Should work if you click on Watch On YouTube as that normally opens a new tab and the original content. Really worth trying.

Worked :). I love Japanese drumming!

Totally different but it brought this to mind:

One of the first records I dug out of my dad's collection when I was very young and among the first times I had a sense of my future love of rhythms, beats and grooves.

What is the genre you feel most at ease with? Would it be funk?

Andy Shauf is a great Canadian artist.

My favourite album of theirs is: “The Bearer of Bad News”

I am listening to IE900 with RU6 today. This is a great pairing. The RU6 seems to take any sound and give it more vibrancy. I think it has the ability to take an otherwise boring IEM and give it life. I've noticed this with most of my listening with other IEMs. With the IE900 specifically, it takes that glorious bass and presents an additional layer of detail giving it more dimensionality.

Daniel! I have this burning question for almost 2 months now but I keep forgetting because of your new moniker: Do you have Dutch or Belgian ancestry by any chance? Not that it matters. Still I'm curious...
