Some quick-n-dirty iPhone unboxing pics of the RS8 No. 174 / Dec 10 production to get us to closer to 3K pages, LOL.

Have to appreciate the packaging on this kilobuck DAP and especially the aesthetic and design details that are thoughtfully and delightfully applied. Truly one the best, I've had the pleasure in unboxing. Enjoy!

Initial impressions:

• Matte unsealed Ti finish is fingerprint magnet and will tarnish over time – but PATINA!
• Hearing iBasso 3MAX SS sound vibes
• Incredible staging with Xe6
• Native DSD1024 / PCM1536 45KHz works as advertised
• Some native DSD noise during playback but that's a R2R thang
• Loving the hefty 590g weight - compact but nicely balanced in hand, LOL
• Can curl 3MAX SS in one and RS8 in other
• Looking forward to another 148 to 198hours of burn in, haha
