No, EVO has an @doctorjuggles cable that is custom made for it. That cable is perfect and isn't going anywhere.

I have a FT for EXT, Jewel and Red Halo FE.

I should be getting a demo unit eventually. But given the asking price + big bass shelf + tuning ability of Lee I will probably end up buying one. Just want to hear it first and make sure it has a place in my collection.

I was pleasantly surprised by the price for sure. Seems to have been well received by most at the last trade show too.

Is the Senn IE900 the best sounding single DD IEM? Opinions? Just hooked up mine to Shanling M6 Pro 21. Its a nice little DAP, but no M9. Inspite of that, this puny little IEM is wiping the floor with my IEMs except my VE EXT and Phoenix . I used to think Dunu Zen Pro was the bees knees.

I prefer Isabellae to IE900 and have it ranked higher. The IE900 has better bass. But, the Isabellae has better tuning for my preferences and great instrumental timbre. The IE900 has veiled mids to my ear.

yes yes, handbags can get very omg price, some costs almost as expensive as an apartment. In Indonesia, many rich housewives are competing on their handbag collection and as someone who knows these people, it's fun observing their behaviour...

yes, i decided to wait on the storm, then i might finally make my decision.. Since i heard the Traillii BA bass, if the storm can reproduce the same quality bass, then i won't complain. But let's see.. i didn't get a chance to try the Jewel with FT cable, but i know it will sound right since the FT cable is versatile and doesn't quite change the core of the iem, but rather improve (although incremental upgrade) on its best qualities. Price wise, the Jewel + FT vs. Traillii, is not much of a difference. So let's see how the subtonic storm will perform...

I have my doubts about Storm like I did about Jewel. I was wrong about Jewel, so I could be wrong about Storm. I will just have to listen to it and try to make a fair and unbiased assessment at that time. It will be a hard sell though because I have 3 IEMs that I really like that covers the waterfront for me with my preferences. The Storm will have to blow me away in some attribute to make me want to buy it.

Are you using a different cable on it? I had heard a mention of veiled mids somewhere, so first listen was 30 minutes of Adel. No veiled mids, but since I am 74 soon, my hearing ain't the greatest.

The Fibae 7U are on the top of my very short list. Already playing with the design tool from Custom Art. Have a difficult time justifying this purchase, though.

See we are talking about Brand. Only problem is the shell of the Jewel is so cheap. But, if they change it, it might sound worse.

Remember, I like EVO and EVO is the opposite of IE900 for upper mids.

A lot of people really like the IE900, so I am not surprised you like it a lot. The tuning just doesn't fit my preferences as well as others.

IE900 is my favourite single DD - if I'm listening a lot to the ZEN PRO, Traillii, or EXT, mids sound recessed in comparison... but once my brain settles, its not an issue.
