Just in case I dont like the stock ones, But, again, more importantly, how's the build quality on them? Considering picking a pair up.

Soz for the question by the way, found out where i order them from. Also, as far as source/amp goes, I have the HA-INFO U2 PLUS DAC/HP amp to power them.

The problem with other drivers s that they use 50 or 53 mm drivers, which are not so common, most phones using these big drivers is quite expensive, so switching drivers would not be "plug and play" so I fear it would not be worth the effort..

i have a pair of 55mils but right now i just want to get some decent sound quality at a preferably low price with SOME soundstage and all that jazz. As far as your review goes, im pretty impressed, but are these things fragile ? Do they feel solid ? Are they? Right now that's my main concern.

Any recommendations for a place to buy the HI 2050, with shipping to Europe?

Greetings,

I think there is a internet seller called Ali Express that has good prices.
I just found the website seller Seaben, I might order the HI2050s and Pro80s from them

Ordered the Takstar HI 2050s, found it easiest just to order them off eBay, had the lowest price for 20 day shipping.

coming from someone with 2 Russian TDS-5 orthodynamics ( Yamaha HP-1 equivalents more or less ) in their profile, that says something.

Wondering if these (PRO 80s and HI 2050) would run off a sansa clip or cowon un amped?

I mainly listen to my headphones when I'm on the move, so haven't thought about purchasing any open cans or amps.

I've got a pair of Pro ones and I can't believe what they offer for the price I've spent. I'm sure I prefer them to the Shure 850!

I use the DT770 Pro 80 & 250-Ohm headphones, any idea on how the sound of the Pro80s compares to them?

Any cowon or a clip rockboxed are able to run them but I highly recommend an amp. My Ibasso Mamba does a great job with them.
