Hi, does the  PRO 80 actually come with that box case from the link a few pages back? Also where are you buying these from? I live in Canada and am interested in the HI2050. I have only found one on eBay and some on Aliexpress, a site which I am not familiar with so far.

Yes it comes with a very nice headphone case but the HI2050 does not have. I bought mine here in China in their local online buy and sell site called taobao.

Yes they do, it is a very nice box..
The Hi20520 comes in a standard cardboard box.

Got mine on aliexpress, Aliexpress is a good place to buy stuff..The seller does not get any money before you confirm you goods has arrived, so it is hard for any seller to cheat, I am not saying it can not happen, but I have only good experiences with aliexpress and I have used a lot of cash there..

Thanks to this thread, my HI2050 will (hopefully) soon come. I was also thinking of getting this little creature http://www.head-fi.org/t/572262/ha-info-u2-plus-usb-dac-headphone-amp-review-the-best-budget-usb-dac-headphone-amp cause everything I need right now(ok not Everything) is a good USB heaphone dac/amp, and Fiio e10 seems to be too weak to feed the Takstar. Has anyone tried this set?
Sorry for my english...

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about getting the ts 671 takstar, which is supposed to be a hi fi hp that is great with jazz, acoustic and classical. Has anyone tried these phones and how to they compare with the 2050 and the pro 80. I only have $60 bucks to spend and I'm looking for this type of phone so i'm hoping these are worth it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The 671 is a total different phone than pro80 and HI2050, it is much bigger in the design, much bigger much much bigger, it is really big, bigger than HD800..
I am quite sure you have chosen the right path when I see your musical preferences, the two other models are more towards "modern music" and especially the pro80 is very good with rock, but has a bit rolled off treble, which makes the soundstage smaller..
HI2050 is more a jack of all trades and does well with most musictypes, good mids, good bass and a slightly later roll off in the treble than pro80

TS 671 Besides being very big, is the most comfortable phones I have tried and I have tried litteraly 100s of phones, the comfort is in a league of it´s own, HD800 comes very very close though..
They sound very open and have a BIG soudstage, it has about the same good midtone as the two others, where the big difference comes in is in the bass and treble, the bass is not nearly as prominent and the treble goes to where only my dog react, an overall signature like a person between the AKG701 and HD800, not as good as the last one, but very close or equal to the 701, in the technical department..

For me the "right" phone is either pro80 or hi2050, they suit my musical taste better, I am also bit of a basshead, but for classical (orcesteral) music I would grab the TS671 of those three mainly because of the bigger stage and no bass boost..

I do not entirely agree with the review about the siblance, but I am not so tuned in to those things or put in another way it does not really bother me when an artist like Sinnead O´connor has sharp "S"es in her voice, it is the way she sings so why run away from it ??

Feel free to ask more..

Is the 671 too big for my small head? I am considered to have a very small head so I hope this isn't a problem. I was also wondering if the 671 would be good for dave mathews, coldplay, and John mayer. I want a good phone for vocals and open stage. I was going to get the fostex but with all the modding to make it sound it's best. It also doesn't have the most open stage.

These seem to be readily available on fleabay, I'll grab a set and test them.
