They're not 580s with 600 grills, and they most certainly do not have just "different writing and color". Like the whole line they sound somewhat similar to the HD580/600/650 but still differ enough that you can hate one model and love this one, or vice-versa.

Wow, I'd forgotten how great the Jubilee's looked. I purchased a pair from Audio Advisor back when they were available....but ultimately liked the sound of the stock 580's better. To me, they sounded like the HD 600 which has always been my least favorite of the line. Here's hoping for a HD 650 Jubilee !!!!

The 580 is a great can, and an awesome value.

Well I ordered the HD600 grilles on the 11th and they arrived today! All I can say is they sure do look different. You can see inside. I'll be taking pictures of these later today or tomorrow.

Hey Kramer that totally rocks!! Ive noticed that the grill for the 600 seems darker than the 650 one.. I tried ordering from seen a pair of 600 grills which i was under the impression only cost like 15 dollars. What I discovered was that they only would sell me one that was 80 USD

Whoa... I begged and cried and asked why on earth are a pair of metal meshes so expensive, but all I got in reply was that this was the one for the 650 and thats all thats available.. Man did I get robbed. Honestly I am really doing the mod for the looks, and I did all this before I was even looking around head-fi. Now I want to know for sure a few things-

-is the 580 almost discontinued? recently the 580 isnt on senn's site anymore?!
-is the cheaper and darker better looking 600 grills still available from senn?
-who wants to buy my 650 grills for a fair price?

wouldnt it be cool if i could stuff a small non-functional driver tube into each grill and have led lights lighting it up? BlingHeiser

The HD580 is still available. Dunno what site you've been on, but if you go to the link I put here, you'll see the HD580 to the right.

Those of you(Garret and JWOLF) that have posted lately with the 600 grills on your 580s, Where did you get them and when? Are these still available from Sennheiser? I just got a pair of 580s and want to get these grills, because I do not like the looks of the stock ones.
