It's actually a really cool place. Friggen headphone geek's heaven in there.

Okay, maybe it's just me but, does that roof look like it's some sort of spray painted plastic?

If compared to roofs (in GoogleEarth) what i know for sure, then i would guess, that this is classical ceramic-stone non-painted roof (curved 'monk-nun' style) and other houses nearby are same. But i guess it needs more zooming into, to be sure!

Two years ago Prof. Dr. Fritz Sennheiser celebrated his 95th birthday

In 1945, Dr. Fritz Sennheiser together with seven engineers and technicians set out on the venture to found a new company. The research and development specialists converted their university institute, which had been moved during the war to the small village of Wennebostel, into what became known as "Labor W".

The headquarters of Sennheiser electronic GmbH & Co. KG are still located in Wennebostel,

which is now part of the municipality of Wedemark. The company also has production sites at its second German location in Burgdorf (electronics manufacturing, wireless technology), as well as in Tullamore, Ireland (headphones production) and Albuquerque, USA (wireless technology for the American hemisphere).
The Sennheiser Group also includes the studio microphone specialist Georg Neumann GmbH, Berlin, K+H Vertriebs- und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (loudspeakers and studio monitors) and the Denmark-based joint venture Sennheiser Communications, which develops headsets for the PC, office and call center markets. There are approximately 2000 Sennheiser employees in 90 countries around the globe.
Sennheiser´s products are sold by a worldwide network of long-standing sales partners and subsidiaries.
In 2007 the turnover of the family-owned company was around 395 million euros, of which 83% were achieved outside Germany.

Sennheiser HD 800 - Headphones - Gadget Guy Australia

"The HD 800s also leave the 600s for dead in terms of the sense of sheer openness and space. While the 600s are good here the 800s are in a different league, providing far more 'air' around instruments and creating a much wider soundstage between your lugholes."

I was just wondering... perhaps Sennheiser wants to get all of our opinions at CanJam before they release the final product. Maybe they still want to fine-tune some areas of it? I doubt this is the case, but at this point I wouldn't rule out anything. I just hope they let me test it with all my gear there.

Didn't you see the video? Of how slow the assembly line workers are?

Have been hearing suggestion that they are delaying until the Munich High End Show (mid/end May) as that is probably the foremost showcase of ultra high-end gear...in Europe, if not the world (far more so than the gadget-centric CES etc.)

...I'm very close to canceling my order...

It feels like I'm intentionally getting jerked around, and I do not care for that at all!

If it wasn't for the fact that I've been all in since the announcement, I would have cashed out a month and a half ago; most assuredly, when I read that there wasn't going to be any Alcantara.

If these aren't bees knees I'm going AWOL.

Again, it sounds like a K-1000 or O2

A little over the top here, don't you think...talk about vain usage of the divine.

They are not expected until June/July.

Sorry for the interruption...

...if this had been an actual emergency.....

....now we resume normal programming.
