I can't wait to see how the cups from these two billets turn out and to hear how they sound with my Senn PX100ii drivers. Will keep you guys posted once I get them back :)

Nice! I wish I could buy wood that size, I have to buy 8 or 10 feet lengths.

Take a few pics of how you go about making them.

I'm curious how someone would rate their SennGrado's against the PS500's or HF-1/HF-2. Those are 3 sets of headphones that I really would like to get eventually.

Put a leather belt around some L-Cush pads and it improves the bass quite a bit in the closed cups but not that much in the open cups.
I ordered some KSC-75  to try in closed cups, I'll be making a couple of closed cups this week for the Koss drivers.

Has anyone managed to find a way to get the highs under control?

Well it looks like it's time to disassemble my Senn PX100-ii's <- which I'm gonna have to pick up another pair of these at some point. I've been pleasantly surprised how good they sound on their own.
These just arrived this morning all the way from Indonesia

I'm working on a couple of closed cups for some drivers I have on the way but need some cables. Anyone have any extra laying around?
I'd really appreciate it.
