anyone here care to share a screenshot of their favorite MSEB settings?
Just want to get a sampling of others settings. I know it will depend on equipment
being used but just want to see what else is popular among the users
Cheers

If this offer is extended to other's that are reading this, I'd personally like to achieve a setting that resembles the "New England" sound (Henry Kloss era). I'm happy with my current sound, but am open to some tweaks if you, Joe (or any others) would like to recommend any settings.

I'm afraid this all sounds quite out of my depth so far
For @hammer time 's request I would need to know what he considers a good sound for rock. At the very least I need to know whether you want more prominent vocals (to offset the tendency for them to be drowned out by guitars etc. in rock) or more prominent instruments ("I LIKE my rock vocals swimming in a wall of sound, that's how rock is supposed to sound!")
I wish I knew what a Henry Kloss era sound sounded like...

By answering this, I'm going to show my age (haha). Henry Kloss was behind the design of some great (in my opinion) speakers up till the mid 1970's. Advent was his most popular, but also the early KLH series.
Thanks for the response, Joe. This gives me an opportunity to also say that I've read a lot of your postings here before I joined up as a member. I never got around to saying that I appreciate the time and effort of your contributions. Thanks again!
@Joe Bloggs is there anyway to improve the Qobuz streaming reliability? Currently every Track/Album I select gives me a "HTTP error code: 400 - Bad request" I'm using 3.3 | version
The R3 connects OK to my home WiFi and I can browse Qobuz fine, it just won't play anything.

Ok. I’m officially turning in my man card.
Cannot for the life of me, after 38,437 attempts, get any version of firmware to load.
I have been living a false life assuming I had some moderation of computer skills/ understanding.
Questions:
1) Google drive grabs every attempt. Can this be a problem handing the file?
2) Root directory on the sd card. What.... is it and where is it?
3) I download the firmware, drag it to the sd card, it does the “green bar” load thing,
a paper icon says upt..... insert sd into r3 aaaaand ..... fail. Error v_v. Or, better yet, no file found.
Has to be me, cannot be the only r3 released that’s fubar. Do I quit and go back to a cassette tape walkman? Thoughts???
Mass rations of crap accepted

Scroll to the page back, there are some instructions posted there. There are 2 different versions of firmware and it might cause problem.
Download the firmware. Open SD card on computer and place the file there ( not in any folder , just on the sd card ). Insert SD card into R3, power down the R3, hold Power button + Volume UP together, it should go into update mode.
This was posted few responses back. backtrack to make sure that I am right.

@Joe Bloggs . . . unreal. Sat down. Hit OTA. Voila. "Downloading firmware".
Proof once again you have to be at least 10% smarter than the machine you're working on . . . or find someone who is.
