I haven't tried embed them info flac file but just file with same name as flac or just cover.jpg in same folder with flac works for me.

It turned out to be photo resolution... good to know but I guess I have a lot of work ahead of me hehe

Anyone using R3 to receive FLAC over wifi from Audirvana Plus with no issues ?
Currently have a uPnP receiver, but it has issues about moving around on tracks or advancing to next track with A+, so looking
at r3 as a solution for mobile use with a balanced amp and FLAC over wifi at home.

My estimate is that the Hiby R3 does not support album art over 1000x1000, I just grabbed the art off Amazon where it's 500x500.

anyone knows if we can use the bluetooth function while the usb output is active ? can you stream bluetooth to the mojo with the r3 ? Can the r3 also be used as a dlna player while the mojo is connected ?

Not yet, but my past experiences with Fiio weren't great, so I wouldn't expect too much from them

Are you sure you sd card is good? I haven't had any issues with this player except it doesn't support multiple file entry in one cue and .wv files.
Overall it is nice little player with very fast UI. But for me it seems too small.

It has no balanced 2.5 output, so no competition as far as I'm concerned. If they added that, it would be interesting because of support for streaming services like Spotify.

Kind of agree but one important feature is if the M6 can download offline from streaming service and you use efficient iems then it's a win!

I've liked the r3 some I got out from kickstarter, but my main issue is poor Bluetooth strength. Have looked at the m6 but not seen any reviews or comparisons with the r3
