Mm...yeah....kinda' easy managing 22 headphones, 22 in-ears, 14 amp/dacs, 12 DAPs and about 50 cables and interconnects.....and two ears (one of which is sub-optimal due to wear and tear, i.e. tinnitus).
I'll prolly go deaf sooner than expected. Sonabi....I really have to stop reading headfi.org, headfonics, headphone guru, innerfidelity, the headphone list and headfonia posts and stop this madness.

Right now: Brahms and SR 009. Heavenly.

you could probably sell your collection and fund your (and a few other members) retirement :)

Mm...sell my numerous children? No way. You can pry my headphones from my dead, cold fingers.
Haha

In all seriousness though, that's an awesome collection of gear. Enjoy it in good health!

@peter123

I see the ol LD still has a spot on your desk. With all your amps, does it hold a place of honour, or is just because it's currently at bat?

Both in a way ;)

I really like it and its been with me for a long time som I don't think I'll ever be able to let go of it. I still like to have it around in my lab for having that tube sound available there as well.

That being said it has lost it's place in my main listening station since the arrival of the Ember II, the competition there is quite tough and it doesn't quite cut it compared to the other (way more expensive) ones.

I keep seeing used ones popping up all the time and have always been tempted. The one thing that's been holding me back, seems to be the limited variety of tubes you can use. An amp like the G1217s which can use almost any 6v tube invented (as well as 12v) is just more appealing, on a tube rolling level. I would consider one of the LD OTL amps though, may be a good entry to full glass?

Kinera H3 (C)IEM...they have a very nice CIEM feel about them. Good sound, well worth the price...

Guys, I am looking for a good IEM, I am thinking of the Fidue A73 for £99. I just want it for short sessions when I am occasionally on a bus or to help me nod off at night, etc.

I like a neutral balanced sound but really like realistic mids and a bit of sparkle in the top end, I dislike mid bass emphasis.

Do you think the the A73 fits the bill or could you recommend other options, I am prepared to spend more if there is something special out there?

P.S. I am a bit of a can head or DAP head but not necessarily in that order :)

Thanks guys, after over 1300 views on this thread since I last posted a few days ago, I have yet to get any feedback.

I plan to watch this gif and video over and over and around and around until I get some replies! :deadhorse:
