Frankly a lot of people don't realise that the "Quad dac" isn't really 4 separate dac chips. It uses an ess9218p which has 4 internal sub-dacs or cores in the chip.

If we were to look at the ess9018 for example, that would be called an octa dac if it was up to LG.

It's our stupid media's fault, everything's a story ...lived In Denmark for a bit there it snows no complaints, south of the UK and even a bit further up don't know what snow is.
I know, I’m 51 now and can remember when it snowed a bit more frequently. People used to just get on with it 40 years ago!!

When there is a light dusting of snow on the ground down here in the south, everything grinds to a halt and it’s all you’ll hear about on the news/papers!!! Up in Scotland all they will say is “I’ll get my coat” lol
I’m with you in cooler temperatures, my Celtic skin is no good in the sun

Sometimes things legiimately grind to a halt... like in Jan. 1978. My town was near the Ohio Michigan border. Our house was on a main road. Snowmobiles were going up and down it. Cars were completely buried on the expressway and other roads. This photo is from the Toledo Blade and shows why I laugh at the crybabies here in Kent... lol.

Just starting out the weekend. New gear in hand. Just got back the Periodic Be from getting repaired. Nice New England Style IPA in hand. Ear seemed to have healed so back to the music. Been a long week without listening. Cheers.

Been listening the N5ii today and getting used the UI and signature with various headphones. Currently have my Meze 99 Classics in balanced. I am liking what I hear so far.

Listening to Jon Butcher Axis and this song takes me back to 80's when I saw him play locally and more recently in my town a few years back. Great guy and artist.
I was looking for his music online some years ago and being an honest person, I did not want to pirate it because Butcher deserves all the accolades and cash from his art. I sent an email to PR address on the band's site asking how I could purchase his music (and get this song below, as it was one my favorites from back in the day.) I heard nothing for a couple days and then suddenly I get an email with this song attached. It was signed: "Thanks for the support, Jon." Looks like he took the time and recorded the song from vinyl on a TT for me and attached it in an email.
Stand up guy. Big shout out to him.
