Right, ejected the SD card while it was on. Waited for the ‘No SD Card Inserted’ alert. Re-inserted the card and immediately hit ‘scan’.
Found the tracks! So do I have to do that everytime I update it?!

Just received mine today - to my dismay, it doesn't seem like you can play all the songs in a genre (seems like a huge oversight) - can anyone else confirm that this is currently the case? If so is there any word from Hiby on whether they plan to update the firmware to allow this?
Sound is pretty good. Obviously the DAC is not as clear or expansive as the Fostex but it’s also not a ruddy great triple-stacker! The amp stage is pretty useless with anything other than iem’s but it combines well with my Vorzüge.
I have the Hidisz AP80 coming from kickstarter soon so I’ll compare.
I’ll try another SD card and do some diagnostics.
Thanks for your help folks.

It should show all songs in a genre and there should be a button to shuffle play them--can you elaborate on your problem?
You may have to hit another listing called "all tracks" or something like that first.

(I had pressed the tiny generic icon in the top right that toggles between album and all track mode in genre but missed the fact it was doing what I want...haha)

Interesting - guess I dropped in at a good time and didn't know what I would've been missing before Is that a problem the Android HiBy app could have resolved over HiBy Link anyway though?

After update - still no joy playing Tidal tracks. Still getting HTTP error: 403 and Error 13. Frustrating when I see others able to utilize Tidal. Wish I could understand the problem
