Do you think this would work to add another 256 GB via OTG USD:

It is very reasonably priced for the amount of storage it offers.

Looks like a great price, I think someone posted a few pages back which OTG drives should work with the X5 and I believe PNY may have been once of the, though you may want to double check that.

Is it micro USB though, looks like regular USB to me.

I think the problem people are describing on power up is this: After using the folder browser to select a song and then powering the X5 off and then turning it back on the last played song starts just fine, but when you hit the back (top left) button it goes to the All Songs category of the library browser, instead of the previous location in the folder viewer. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the behavior I've experienced.

Just had my first X5 lock up. I was playing music while plugged into a wall charger. Left for awhile. X5 turned itself off. When I turned it back on, it hung at the boot sequence. I tried the reset button and 10-second power button tricks without luck. Removing my mSD card and powering on did the trick. Happened to anyone else? Might check the bugzilla and file a bug if nobody has reported this yet.

That doesn't matter. Look at the accessory cables that come with the X5. The on the go adapter uses normal USB. Doesn't it?

I hadn't realy followed the OTG feature so I'm not certain, but I don't think I got any USB cables with my X5

It says it only supports up to 64GB, but I wonder if it would support the new 128 GB micro SD cards, don't see why not, if so I could fit all my hi-res music on one device as I have about 300 GB of hi-res music on my computer.
