we don't suggest you buy FiiOs on ebay  because it will be difficult to handle the warranty issues, and sometimes it will cost you more money to return the defective unit to hong kong.

not sure whether it is suitable to say the object test data of ipod classic in here, but depend on the specification which done by AP, iPod is lost in everything . of course, iPod Classic is very great product , UI, ID, build quality, battery life, fast response .

We understand that there is such a risk. But I think we would agree to take the risk, because everybody can not wait to get this great player! We are just waiting for your permission to ship worldwide.

I'll wait for it it show up on Amazon.  That's one of the reasons I like Fiio products, they're accessible in North America.

FiiO is accessible in everywhere that's something I really appreciate. Most Asian companies doesn't care that much of European fellows. Fortunately FiiO is not one of them. Therefore, they are the winner for many people including me. That said, I am still a poor student I will not be able to buy X3 and X5 so I have to make a decision between them. X3 is a real winner there is no question there but I think I will try to be patient and get the 'Reference DAP' as James kindly stated.
 
Or as soon as I see it in amazon I will not be able to hold myself and buy it

You won't need the E11 with it.....it's got just as much power as the E11 does.

My requirement for DAP is simple - good SQ and an easy to use interface. RockBox is useful for adding a lot of things, but the fundamental doesn't change. Thus whatever have been added are mostly of no use for me. Option is good only when you need option, or else it is just taking up space as everything else. In that case, I am quite happy with the stock firmware.

I actually remove features from the initial setup and only activate the dither setting.
