Same here. My iPod Classic's HDD died back in November... so it's been a long wait for the X3. My iPod can hold a maximum of TWO albums without the HDD giving out, so I've been swapping songs every day since.
 
Please, FiiO. Give us a sign that the X3 is really coming soon.

My Meizu miniplayer (one famous DAP made by Chinese company) has lots of bugs, with very poor compatibility with MAC.
So, it is definitely worth spending more time on the UI. 
I wish we could use Rockbox on X3...

It will be summer by the time the X3 comes out, but that's OK...
You just have some more time thinking up a playlist of music to play...

I guess the X3 April Launch is just speculation.
At this time, there is no information about X3 in Fiio website.
So far anyone has the latest product spec?
I am very interested to know what is the SNR and DAC chip in X3?

April is just an internal projection from FiiO. It really depends on how fast they can wrap up R&D and go into full production.
 
DAC has been mentioned before, Wolfson WM8740. SNR won't come out till final production is ready.

Some rumors say the Wolfson WM8741 will be used in X3 instead. Not sure how true is this?
I checked the Wolfson website, apparently WM8741 has a better spec. than Wolfson WM8740.

At the moment there is no official published product spec for X3, therefore any last minute changes can be happened.

Err. no. Forget where I read it, but some engineer actually took the time to look into both and conclude that there is no significant difference between the two. Whatever improvement WM8741 has is mostly on paper.
 
As said, It has been 100% confirmed by FiiO that X3 will use WM8740.
