Yeah, they've been really up front and proactive with everything so far. I laugh when some people down play the FiiO product line. They make great stuff and actually care about the community they serve...unlike another manufacturer whom I won't name. I'll bet this little DAP is going to make FiiO a LOT of money!
 
What I am really concerned about is...availability...will FiiO allow us to pre-order? Has anyone asked James that?

But I would like to know if it has Digital input so that I can use X3 as USB DAC

Its a dap foremost, USB dac is a speculative feature that might or might not exist , having a line out doesn't mean its a USB dac

I think they're focusing on this as a DAP not as another USB DAC. Which I'm glad of...lets do things right and keep it focused. They make enough DAC's...and the Market NEEDS an affordable quality DAP right now.
