My T50RP cups. I bondo'd off the vents and used automotive primer, paint, and clear coat. I will be putting a strip of the carbon fiber vinyl up the center of each cup after the clear coat fully hardens in a few days. I'm also waiting on my mini xlr chassis mounts to come in the mail so I can drill and mount those.

Thanks! I got the vinyl wrap on. The holes that the headband attaches to are cut through with an exacto knife, it should pop through just fine.

My "DE4D Mod" (that's what I'm calling it, the drivers look like ex'd out eyes from a cartoon who's... well dead.

Sclupey clay on the baffle to create a better seal and make it stiffer, transpore tape on the back of the drivers, a small piece of memory foam above that in the center, then the plastic X's over that connected to the drivers with 3M double-sided tape, the vents are bondo'd off and then the backs of the cups Dynamat'd. I use Shure 840 pads on my T50RP.

EDM MONSTER.

Installed a 3-pin mini XLR into some M50s tonight, and whipped up a mogami cable to use with them. I'm waiting on some HM5 pads to arrive in the mail and then these will be up for sale.

Nice! They should be great with the HM5 pads!

What really stinks about it is, I actually ordered the HM5 pads for my T50RP and was going to put the SHure 840 Pads from those onto the M50s, BUT they're way too stretched out now :frowning2: I'll probably have to order another pair of HM5s after the sale. Poopy.

Really clean work! Might make sense to buy new 840 pads to sell with the M50 as they're easier to come by, and save the HM5 pads for yourself.

Sorry I won't see you later this month; I'll have to try to make it to a MI meet.

Man all the Michigan meets are in Detroit it seems! We need to get one in a more central location. I'd really like to meet some Michigan headfiers and try out some gear without driving 3 hours.
