i personally wouldn't, only because if i was going quad BA i think i would prefer the sound signature of xba-40. but i think $200 is a good price for them, and if i didn't prefer xba-40 or westone 3, then yes i would get ue900 for $200.
 
i happily paid $100AUD for UE6000 and $200AUD for UE9000, which was 50% off RRP, and i think they were both great deals. so i figure 50% off ue900 would be the same (if you are after the sound signature).

Well, the portapro's are classics. Getting them for $25 is a pretty great deal. And if you find the bass to be a bit much or uncontrolled at times, there are plenty of modding options. Classics I say!
