nope, that's not actually what you wrote. (i understand what you were trying to say, but you worded it poorly.)

also, just to clarify the logitech products were never 1/2 price form logitech (to my knowledge). the UE6000 was 50% off from one retailer, and then all Logitech headphones were 50% off from another retailer for a 1 day sale.

Different strokes for different folks.  I was talking about the UE 900 by the way.

yeah caprimulgus is spot-on. One of the retailers sold Logitech stuff 50% off for one day, including UE900. But no, not direct from Logitech Australia.

It was not discounted couple of weeks ago, months even. I was checking it again and again on that very weblink I just posted. It was heavily discounted all over UK, Europe and such, but not Logitech Australia, and certainly not at half-price.

I didn't really look into that and the trend but I saw it for $299, which is a decent discount compare to the $499.95 which is the MSRP according to Logitech Australia.

Are the Cyber Monday deals dead? At least for the east coast vendors?

I think AC Gears is in NYC, and it just passed midnight there. I was about to spring for the Re400s, but they were back to $99. It was one minute after 9pm on the west coast!

If anyone finds elsewise, please do tell!

  Different strokes for different folks.

i'm not exactly sure what you mean...there's english, and then there's poor english. if you read your original post, at the very least you put a comma in the wrong place, which completely changed the meaning of the sentence: "in UK and Australia," vs "in UK, and Australia" (even the latter would have been poor phrasing, due to switching sentence structure over a conjunction within a list).

if it's different strokes for different folks, i'm happy to be part of the folks who are able to communicate what they intend to communicate without everyone (rightfully) misunderstanding them.

you done wrote your words wrong. let's just leave it at that.

I was talking about the UE 900 by the way.

and I was talking about the discounts to all logitech headphones/earphones (including the UE900). as far as i am aware, that one day sale was the only time the UE900 has been discounted to 50% in Australia. i wouldn't refer to a one day sale from one retailer (with similar discounts for other products) as "a product being heavily discounted".

at most, you might draw the conclusion that the logitech headphone/earphone range has been available at 50% (albeit from various retailers at different times, rather than from logitech directly) in line with the 50% discounts seen in other countries. however, this supports logitech discounting its range by 50%...in no way does it support a discounting of the UE900 to $109, so i'm not sure how your information is "based on" the discounting in Australia.

i would quit while you're behind mate...

I dont get the no longer available part for Australia though. Not only are they still available but also still selling them at full price when so many countries had them at heavy discounts:

Everything's expensive here and we don't get the good deals much, if at all locally

Another question is AMAZON US itself doesnt carry UE900. The price in China is always as low as $250 if we exchange the money. So, honestly, UE900 does not discount A LOT because $200 should be in the normal price range. The reason we cannot get low price for it is because logitech has a good control of retail price in most areas but performs horrible in China. At the first day it released in China, its price was dropped down to $250 and now the price is keeping decrease. Base on those information,
BTW, I think UE900 may be on sale for $150~$200 in U.S. someday. That is more reasonable.

I think I'm going to write Santa and ask him to give everyone in the whole world a UE900, just so that I don't have to read any more posts about them here in this thread!

Just kidding!

Feel free to post whatever you like, of course, but try searching this thread for UE900.  You'll get four pages worth of search results for all the posts mentioning it.  Maybe I should just buy some to see what all the fuss is about, eh?

I'm on the west coast and it still works.  You have to type "cbmd13" in the promo code box.
