Yeah, I just didnt like them. I should reiterate and say that the T70 are not bad headphones, but the extreme clarity and resolution in the treble doesnt sound musical to me, although I can see how some people would absolutely love it, it is quite unique. I prefer my beyer DT770, they also have bright treble but basically less resolution and more warmth, bear in mind that the DT770 have more treble resolution than 95% of hp's Ive tried, so you can imagine how insane the T70 is for me lol.

Looks like I'll pass then. I would mostly use a closed can for work or travel feed from my ipad or phone (galaxy note3). It looks like the t70p was designed for that, but I'm looking for a more forgiving (fun) sound. I'll just be patient and wait for the new Oppo PM-3...

I do love those micro suede pads... really want to try them on my HE-4

that is true, i'm actually sort of confused between an IE800 and a TH600 as of now. Don't need DSD but that would be a good bonus. USB/Battery powered is a must.

I'm still a big fan of the Soundmagic HP100/150 for a great closed can. That thing is criminally underrated around here.
