I've heard so many bad things about the Momentum On-Ears I don't know if I'll ever get them unless the price drops to something ridiculous like $50.

If the Momentum dropped to say $69, would you rather get the Momentum or a pair of UE 6000?

Neither.

FYI, I've downgraded my opinion of the MOE.  They're good for a gift, but I'm not a fan of the sound.  Bloated, muddy bass and rolled off highs...Tho the rolled off highs are kinda that warm Senn house sound.  It's mostly the bass that I don't like.

The refurb HP100 for $99 is WAY more headphone for very close to the same money (depending on the upcoming deal).

Pretty good chance that some of them might have been switched with fakes. No easy way to tell right? Those ******** making counterfeits make it impossible to buy these headphones second hand.

Yeah, I've read too many horror stories about how people who purchased from the warehouse received fakes, so I'm staying away. The Sennheiser outlet items also comes with a warranty, something Amazon Warehouse does not have.

I think the outlet only carries a 90 day warranty, which is only 60 days passed most return deadlines, so not a huge risk.

Also, I've read a few cases where AKG and Beyerdynamic held a new warranty for Amazon warehouse deals. On the old thread, I went through a bit of trouble to find sources and type it all up, but a mod deleted it and I'm not going to hunt it down again. But I know there are posts where people had some luck.

Like New items in the Outlet still carry the full warranty, while the others have the 90 day.

HIFIMAN-EF100-product-overview.jpg

Looks like Hifiman has a new hybrid amp, those EF5 should be dropping close to 300ish possibly on BF. It's a direct replacement of it.

Its hideous but I want it!
