I can’t tell if the hinges are plastic or metal. A number of those joybuy reviews say the headphones are heavy, which leads me to believe the hinges are metal.
Speaking of the joybuy reviews, many of them are quite hilarious:
“It was either a little, or a believer, or a professional.”
“I’m a fungus. There’s no difference between feeling, and Apple’s own headphones.”
“First listen to the machine again.”
“There were only earphones in the box, 2 cables, and an instruction book.”
I guess that last guy was expecting a newborn kitten or perhaps a brick of gold to be in the box as well?
I bought some headphones from JoyBuy on 23rd September (deal posted a few pages back) and they were delivered on 3rd October in Australia.
I was a bit weary but looks like they are legit. Besides the intial order confirmation and their newsletters I didn't get any other emails from them regarding my order.
