Aurisonics Rockets (Exclusive Edition) on MD. Lowest price at $150, limited to 100 units.

^Nice price.  As a KS backer who waited over a year for delivery at the same price, it chaps the hide a little, and you get a hardcase. Regardless, they are great sounding iems for that price and that 5 year warranty is a boot.

Perhaps this means that they're almost ready to launch their Auris, one can only hope.

Interesting, do the Rockets have excellent seal like Shure IEMs? Also how far out do they stick out?

Really great seal, but I preferred Ortofon tips.  I hated the stock elastapolmer tips.  The housing is small so they don't stick out much, but the cable is a little thick and stiff, so it doesn't flop/drop down like other iems' with thinner cables.

Hmmm...tempting at lowest price. I like the waterproof and indestructible design. Seems like fantastic IEMs for travel and heavy use.

Good deal but the shipping cost to Hawaii makes it more expensive than Amazon.

I'm willing to bet that if you're a long time customer of Amazon and pop open a chat, tell em you'd rather be a loyal customer instead of taking your business elsewhere (use those words) they'll match or come close. Worth a shot and takes maybe 5mins to do. This will probably work more on the expensive stuff and not under $100.

I can agree with that. Been a customer since 2006, maybe thats why I got a good price for the X2?

Hmm I remember I paid 80 bucks for my pair of SHP9500 and I rarely used them lol. Need to buy a second pair to mod them since they are kind of bright out of the box. Not a bad thing but for long listening periods, the highs get me fatigued and wont stand more than 1 hour listening to them. I use to use them for competitive gaming, especially when I squad up with friends. But ever since I got the K7XX and the X2.....I seem to have not gone back to them.

I would still hghly recommend them to anyone, even to those that have more expensive headphones. You can think of them as your spare headphone, just like i have the koss ksc75 lol....they are still dangling on my wall.
