Wow!  $499 for a PM-2 is a no-brainer as is $319 for a PM-3.  If you have interest in either of these, I highly recommend both.  
 
In my highly personal opinion, which you will probably disagree with and should probably disregard before your head explodes from rage, the PM-2 is very similar to the LCD-2f but better in just about every way:  better looking, lighter, better constructed, better bass, airier treble, more soundstage, portable/transportable, better stock cable, etc.  The PM-2 obsoletes the LCD-2f.  Don't even get me started on the EL-8! 
 
I have a big review of the PM-3 in my sig as well if you want to know my thoughts on that gem.  I'm listening to mine right now wondering if I know anyone who could take advantage of these prices.

Looks like the refurbished PM-3s are out of stock... at least for the time being.
 
I had my finger on the trigger, but I think I have to sell some stuff before I can justify any more headphone spending. If I can sell my Pro900 and M-100, I'll be picking up the PM-3 for sure.
